A 14ª edição do Penedo Moto Fest, encerrada neste último final de semana, comprova que o evento é o maior encontro de motociclistas do Baixo São Francisco. Além de praticamente lotar hotéis e pousadas da cidade, integrantes de motoclubes utilizaram serviços e consumiram em estabelecimentos locais, proporcionando maior circulação de recursos na economia do município.
Nem mesmo a chuva que caiu durante as noites de sexta, 27, e sábado, 28. diminuiu o entusiasmo das pessoas que foram ao estacionamento da Prainha de Penedo, espaço de confraternização entre moradores e visitantes.
A plateia que sempre se diverte em paz e alegria curtiu os shows das bandas Fita K7, Cores do Mar, Tharles Rosa Negra, Rock em Dobro, Seu Madruga, Fantasma, Dudu Moral e Paulo Miklos, músico que trouxe sucessos dos Titãs, banda que o tornou conhecido.
A presença de uma atração de nível nacional nas edições do Penedo Moto Fest é um dos motivos do sucesso do evento consolidado no calendário anual da Cidade Criativa da Unesco, onde Miklos também foi visto pelo público no filme Saudosa Maloca durante a edição 2024 do Circuito Penedo de Cinema.
“Esse foi o 14º Penedo Moto Fest. Nem mesmo a chuva atrapalhou o grande público que veio curtir o último dia dessa festa e assistiu ao grande show de Paulo Miklos na nossa cidade. Esse evento, que reuniu dezenas de motoclubes já é o maior evento de Moto Fest do Baixo São Francisco. Que venha a edição do próximo ano”, destaca Teresa Machado, secretária municipal de Cultura.
A música também foi atração na Praça 12 de Abril, com Léo Marques. No mesmo espaço, artesãs expuseram e comercializaram suas peças no estante localizado com vista privilegiada para o rio São Francisco.
Organizado pelo Moto Clube Falcões do Baixo São Francisco, o evento aberto ao público tem apoio da Prefeitura de Penedo e do Governo de Alagoas, trabalho que viabiliza o crescimento da vocação de Penedo para o turismo de eventos, unindo o cenário histórico e arquitetônico da cidade à cultura do motociclismo.
